How to Use the Tool Icons on Menu Bar

I've been unable to get the tools to work in the program. I'm so used to left clicking icons with all my other programs and get frustrated everytime I get the note to use tools Right-click. I then right-click and try to use the tool and I get nothing.

Obviously I'm doing something wrong . . . can you please tell me what it is?

You can configure the tools to respond to left clicks. Use this icon to swap between the tools using the left or right mouse buttons.

Just wanted to say thank you for your help. Clicking on that icon worked.

Sorry I wasn't able to get back to you sooner . . . have a full plate between working a full-time job and trying to relocate my parents closer to me.
