Good Morning Everyone,
Easy steps makes for more fun. :P
Tips: Remember to back up when you are satisfied with your work.
Always check the size, density and opacity of the brushes.
Always check in layers that the opacity and mix mode has not changed. It would and could create a different effect.
Some brushes use all 4 colors at once. The colors I use are usually all 4 at once or individually.
At times, I would create the same brush with 4 more colors. This way I don't have to stop

Lets begin with a solid color background of your choosing. I particularly like the Greens and various shades of browns. To me they reflect jungles and forests.
There should be 3 rows at the top of TB.
Attached Image
Select your choice in color to any brush. Use the paint can to cover the entire background

We are ready to begin with the outline of the face. You may use grays, browns and tans to use as the outline.
Attached Image
Notice the brushes I used are: The gel Pen and the Wet Finger Paint Blender. The shades of these colors I used are:

This is what you should have thus far.

I shall be back. Have fun painting Everyone. :D Von

Hello Everyone,
This next section is about the facial coloring and the hair around it.
Gel pen in size 20. The color I used to create the basic entire face is the first one on the color scheme.
Attached Image
It should look like this
Attached ImageAttached Image

The following are the brushes I used to achieve the hair.
Notice the size, opacity, density and the four (4) colors used.
2 Textured Acrylic Brushes, Textured Oils Brush and the Wet Finger Paint Blender.
I used the Wet Finger Paint Blender brush Size Three (3) on the tips of the hairs to separate them.
Attached ImageAttached Image
Attached ImageAttached Image
The brow front hairs are shorter then the back hairs. No 2 monkeys are identical. So if you want to make the hairs grayer or browner that is up to you :)
This is what the painting so far:
Attached Image
This is how I created the beginning of the eyes.

This is how the painting should look thus far:

There is still quite a bit to do including touch ups at the end. I shall be back soon with the next segment. Thank You for visiting :) Von
